Open Your Heart and Just Listen

I’ve been somewhat on my own for all these years.
Every time you think you’re always it right
You make me drown in my own tears.
Lately there is something pressing on my heart
You could simplify my life, if you would listen to some advice.
Open your heart, close your mouth and just listen
To what I’m about to say.
I don’t want you getting totally confused
With the message that is coming your way.
Just stop what you’re doing and take a deep breath
You might just start hearing some truth.
Close your mouth and just listen to what I’m saying
And then I’ll spend time to listen to you.
I’ve tried to treat you nice by doing everything.
But you just keep on demanding more
And just complain about everything.
I guess I’ll never ever be the guy you want.
Since I’ve sacrificed my life, could you listen to some advice?
It doesn’t matter what I try.
It doesn’t matter where I go.
It doesn’t matter what I say.
You really just don’t want to know.
