Workshop FAQ

Why do you sell strings at all?

I’ve been asked for years what strings I use and why. This workshop grew naturally out of those conversations. I offer these strings simply as a service to fellow musicians—not as a business identity.

Are these your own manufactured strings?

No. I don’t believe in pretending. These are carefully selected strings from trusted manufacturers that I use myself. My role is curation, not invention.

Are these strings “Christian” strings?

No. They’re just good strings.
I believe craftsmanship honors God, but I don’t label tools with faith. I try to live it instead.

Why not just recommend all the big-name brands?

I’m not opposed to them. I just don’t think musicians need more marketing noise. These are strings I’ve settled on after years of playing, changing, and listening.

Do I need to like your music to buy strings here?

Not at all. You’re welcome whether you listen, play, both, or neither.

Will you add more tools later?

Possibly—but only if they’re things I actually use and believe in. I’m not interested in filling shelves.

Is this how you make your living?

No. Music and storytelling are my calling. The Workshop exists to support musicians and conversation, not replace either.

Can I ask you questions about strings or setup?

Yes. If I can help, I will. If I don’t know, I’ll say so.
